Weekly Wrap-Up-Week of September 13

It’s Monday ya’ll!  I may be one of the weird ones but I actually look forward to Mondays.

Mondays are a way for me to reflect on the past week and plan for the week ahead. Take note of things that went well and things that need a bit of tweaking.

The kids and I sing this song ever Monday morning-its a cute little diddy 🙂

My step activity for the week:

Eating wise, I minimized my sweet snacks and ate pretty close to my current set macros.

The kids a great week in their activities too.

My daughter is doing so well in gymnastics.  She is in training Mon and Wed for an hour each day.  Since the class is in the middle of the day, she is actually the only student right now so she gets a full hour with the coach! I ‘ll take it!!! In the 3 weeks that she has been training, she has improved sooo much and it makes her so excited and me to 🙂

She is able to do a pull over and push up onto the bar all by herself now 🙂

My son is having a great time with soccer.  He has training 3 times a week with games on Saturdays.  This week, his coach told me that he is really impressed with him and his way of pushing and fighting for the ball.  He is impressed with his development and is looking forward to his growth.

Overall, this #fitfamily did well last week and we are looking forward to another great week!

Sounds like a great week! I’m glad that your children are enjoying their sports as well!

Last week felt crazy so hopefully things will get back to some form of normal, whatever that is. 🙂

I so miss the track workouts! Have a great week! Less than 2 weeks until Ragnar!

I always say Mondays are for rest. HA. I love the REST graphic you included. I’m going to remember that. It looks like you had a very strong week. Congrats on the stepping too. How lucky your daughter is to be getting one on one coaching for a full hour! None of my kids played soccer, so all I know is that it requires a lot of running. And that’s a good thing! Thanks for linking up with us! Enjoy your week.

You had a great week! I love this saying “Muscles are torn in the gym, fed in the kitchen and built in the bed!” What great motivation for this Monday too! Awesome report on your kiddos too that they are excelling in their sports, way to make mama proud! Appreciate you participating in the link up and I hope you have another great week!

I love that rest day quote for Thursday! It looks like you had an awesome week of training! I don’t have kids, but it must be so rewarding to watch them progress in their activities as well. Great job to them!

I built lots of muscles last night. I was so tired from my triathlon and 3:45AM wakeup that I fell asleep on the couch at 6:30. My husband woke me up and told me I was going to ruin my night of sleep by napping so close to bed time. I showed him! I went straight to bed, read 2 pages out of a book, and zonked out again until 5AM this morning! Guess I needed the rest…
