Ultimate Coffee Date: November

It’s the 1st Saturday of  the month….do you know what that means? It means i get to sit down and enjoy a lovely cup of coffee with Coco at Running With Perserverance, Deborah at Confessions Of A Mother Runner, and Lynda at Fitness Mom Wine Country at their
Ultimate Coffee Date!

Make sure to check out some of the other bloggers who are participating in the linkup.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I think I may be a bit obsessed with flavored coffee!!  Everytime I go to Marshalls. TJ Maxx or HomeGoods, I head right to the clearance and see what have.  I picked up these yummy flavors for under $10!!!

Salted Caramel, Chocolate Peanut butter, Caramel and 2 Pumpkin Spice!

The funniest thing…..I don’t even drink coffee (by itself)!!! I do mix coffee into my chocolate protein shakes in the morning. I like changing up the flavor.

If we were having coffee, I tell you that I just finished participating in a 2 week Grow your blog-Blog Hop hosted by Kristy @ Runaway Bridal Planner. It was so much fun. I enjoyed it so much that after talking to Kristy and finding out that there was an opening in Round 2….I had to sign up.  It is a lot of work but such a great way to ‘meet’ new bloggers and to see the creativity of other bloggers.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that October was my best running month to date!! After sustaining injury over the summer and not being able to train as I wanted to, I performed really well in both of my Fall races. (Ragnar DC and Rock and Roll Brooklyn) If you are interested in recaps, fell free to read them here, here, here and here

At Ragnar DC, I ran the farthest I have ever run…18.6 miles total!!! It was an awesome experience!

And I PRd at RnR Brooklyn! I thought I had finished right at 2:15 (this is the time I submitted to RnR [complete story on that in the recap]). When I found out they would accept my time and I went to print my certificate….imaging my joy and suprise when I saw this:

If we were having coffee, I would let you know that both of my kids have done well in their first seasons of competitive sports.

My son’s last soccer game was today. Of course it had to rain-right!  Anyhoo, he has had a great season and has developed well! One of his coaches from the summer saw him playing last week and was so surprised at how well he had developed since he had seen him last! #proudmama

My daughter has been taking a gymnastic class which has ended up being just her and the coach so she gets 1 on 1 for 2 hrs a week.  With that she has progressed so well, she has been moved up to the next level but will continue in the same class time all by herself!

I’ll take it!!

Speaking of my daughter…If we were having coffee, I would let you know that she turned 5 in October.  You can read my Birthday post here.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that we had a good time Trick or Treating! I am not a Halloween fan but I do it all for them!

If we were having coffee, I would let you know that I was running a low key local 5k race tomorrow with the group that I run my track workouts with.  The lead of our track workouts is pushing me to run my fastest 5k to date.  She is confident that all of my hard work at the track will pay off.  I am nervous and excited at the same time. I will let you know how it goes!

Well, I am just about done with this delicious pumpkin spice coffee I have been sipping on.  Thank you for having coffee with me. I felt like I took up the entire conversation……

If we were having coffee, what would you tell me? Please share.

    Congrats on your Awesome October!!
If we had coffee I would probably talk with you about the kids. 🙂 My boys are 6, 8 and 10. And I think we’d probably have to talk a bit about running too 🙂

This is such a cute idea! I don’t love coffee, but I wish I did! I always have tea whenever I am with someone who has coffee – which is often! I used to not really love tea, either, so I would get hot chocolate or suggest something else whenever someone suggested coffee! It seems like you had an amazing month! Hope it continues for you! =)

If we were having coffee, actually I’d be drinking a chai latte’….I love the smell of coffee, but hate the taste of it. I’m going to be stalking the second round of the Hop, it was fun meeting so many great gals and I look forward to some more great reading!

ha ha…love your blog (and I’m new to it, via the Hop).
If we were having coffee, I’d actually be drinking a chai latte’ because I don’t like coffee (but LOVE the smell of it). I’m gonna “stalk” the second round of the Hop because I met some great gals in the first round, and look forward to more great reading 😉

I am signed up for Round 2 in the hop too and I can’t wait. I have heard really good things about it so glad you too liked it. I haven’t thought about trying TJ Maxx for coffee, we don’t have a Marshals but I may need to see what I find in ours. I can’t wait to hear how your 5k went. You have been doing great these past few months I’ve followed you.
