2016 Race Scheduling begins!!

Well this Sunday will be my final race for 2015!!! I can’t believe it really.  When I went back and counted my races for 2015, I have run 14 races ranging from 5k to Ragnar!!!  This is actually pretty unbelievable to me! 2015 was just my 2nd year participating in races with real purpose.  Prior to 2014, I ran a 5k here and there but probably never more that 2 5ks in a year if not just 1 and here I am in 2015 counting 14 completed races. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

The sense of pride and accomplishment is pretty overwhelming actually.  I will be doing a 2015 race review soon….I still have recaps to write for YMCA Turkey Chase, Rehoboth Half and Sunday’s Jingle Bell Jog too.

As I transition into shorter and multi-sport races next year, I am excited about the training, learning new things and developing new goals to set and meet.

One of the things I am most excited about in 2016…………….

Outside of those races, I have begun to develop my 2016 race schedule.  As always this is a work in progress-lol but it will include shorter distance races (5k-10ks), a select number of longer distances (12k-half marathons), and excitingly adding 2 Triathlons!!!

Will 2016 be anything like or better that 2015?  We will have to see but I know I am excited about the 2016 race year already!!!

Will you join me at any of the Zooma races? How has your 2015 race year been? Have you begun planning 2016 races?

congrats on becoming a Zooma Ambassador! You will have a great time. The only race that I have planned right now is Boston, and that is going to a be a “get across the finish line” race because of the healing that I’m currently doing. But I don’t care, it’s Boston!
